Never thought I'd see Frank Vatrano leading an NHL team in scoring, but there it is.

How cool would it have been to get the NJD 1st this year. Gah!
I suppose with Marky they’d have finished the season much better, maybe even in the playoffs.

Nick Bjugstad once led the Panthers in scoring. Teams as bad as the Ducks aren't going to have legitimate stars as their leading scorers.
That being said, I've always been a Vatrano fan. He scores at a decent rate, and usually those goals are clutch, or in key situations. He's pretty bad defensively, which is why he keeps bouncing around, but he'll put 20 in the net every year if he gets decent ice time.

Seems to be our luck, but I feel like the schedule makers love to stick it to us.
Whenever the Flames have been battling for playoff spot, it seems March they send us on some stupid road trip, and give us a murderers row of opponents.
Now we get to play one of the worst teams of all time in San Jose twice, Anaheim not much better twice more. The Kings and Jets are bums. Coyotes suck. The Oilers will forever be no good.
Imagine being in the playoffs and cashing in on all the points. Instead it will just knock us out of a good draft spot.

Lets see.
- at home.
- playing one of the worst teams in the league
- well rested
- no injuries of note
Think I’ll remortgage the house today and put it all on a big Flames L.

But unlike Chicago and San Jose, I'm pretty sure the Flames have had the Ducks' number in recent days.

Can we get Gondek to drop the puck again? That magic must have worn off.

Father in law is a big Ducks fan, so it's hard to not want the Flames to win this one. But, the lottery pick is the prize.
Big two points for draft position tonight. A loss would go a long way based on their easy schedule rest of the way.

do I watch the Flames lose, or the Blue Jays lose. Democracy is all about choices.

Since the Flames always seem to lose when I watch, I will do the tank commanders a favour and watch every game here on out...

No, to Gondek, especially when we want the Flames to get into a better draft position.

The reason they are out of the playoff picture is that they couldn’t beat these bad teams earlier in the year though
