Nice Restaurants for Lunch in Beltline
Hey guys, what are some nice new restaurants for lunch in the Beltline/Downtown area? While driving down 17th another day, I noticed a few signs I've never heard of before.
Something more than an eatery, a nice/even fancy place with comfortable seating. Cuisine - Californian, Italian, preferably. At least some decent parking around.
Thanks!

Depends what you're feelin.
Burgers:
Burger Inn. So underrated.
Date, or to treat yourself to a heckuva meal:
Model Milk, Brava Bistro, Una (pizza), Mercato
Bring out the inner hipster, for a pint and beernuts:
Milk Tiger
Fatty, yummy, traditional Italian:
Buon Giorno
More concerned about how you look, than your food does:
Melrose Cafe, National Beerhall,
Post-bar, drunk food:
Smoke's Poutinerie, Big Cheese
Sushi:
LOL.

I'm looking for places fancier than just a burger or sandwich joint. Something similar in feel to Alloy, Rouge, Rush, Bonterra, Redwater.

Avec is my favorite lunch place, food is very good and it is a nice restaurant. However, it is quieter at lunch, which I prefer. Just a tranquil place to get some solid French food.

Good list.
I would also add Borgo Trattoria to the list for Italian. I love the food and atmosphere there.

Our go-to nicer sit down place is Borgo. Great food, really good atmosphere and design, and its one of those places thats loud enough that you can bring a baby and not annoy everyone else too much.
I've also found Cibo to be a nice place to go to for a more relaxed but still good meal, and also a good place to have a lunch-meeting.

Avec isn't bad, a couple blocks away is Downtown Food, which is awesome, but it's on Stephen Ave and 5th/6th St.
Boxwood is kind of bland for my liking, but I like the atmosphere.

Yeah, I think the food there doesn't live up to the great location. It's not bad by any means, but nothing on the menu ever really jumps out as being awesome.

I always end up getting the roasted chicken sandwich and am disappointed. It's like chicken and lettuce and aioli. And a rather plain aioli at that. Give me a tomato, avocado, bacon..

Thanks! Borgo is one of our favourites, and I'm glad to hear my upcoming little arrival won't totally exclude it as an option.

Yellow Door Bistro is pretty solid. I've had the BLT with thick cut pork belly and egg several times. Steak Frites was also really good.

I've not been but Market at 17th near 6th is now supposed to be quite good since its chef changed. The decor looks really nice.
Farm is also a winner. Great food.
For Italian, as Table mentioned Borgo and Cibo are both excellent.

And in the back of Farm is some of the best cheese in the city, Janice Beaton.
Also, for you vegetarians The Coup is great, and while food waits are quite long, gives you more time for cocktails.
