Just a question and a comment about the signature files that are starting to proliferate the board. Can we get them under control? I really don't give a steaming coil if you're a fan of a TV show, or this rapper, or that player, or what ever, I care about the forum running smoothly and not having a 30 second lag during game threads and such. Could we please restrict signatures to text only, or at worst, restrict the size to that of an avatar? They're out of control IMO.

The lag isn't related to the size of the sig images, it's a server side issue.

Most of those sig images are super small, smaller than your avatar file size even.

There's also an option in the User CP to disable displaying signatures entirely.

Fair enough. Just a suggestion to make things run smoother. Prepare for the mother of all signature files!!!

I did not start it! It was otto...

But yeah it's a little out of hand.. I think I'm going to setup a script for mine so only one shows at a time but it's a random one.

Uh, the last one I noticed was evman's. If there's one thing that annoys me on a message board is a ######edly long LOLLLLLLLLL that forces me to scroll sideways to read the well thought out post before or after the moron.
Long links are forgivable. Long sigs **** me off more than long lols.

These bar things are kind of annoying. I don't know if people find my AC work annoying, but I honestly don't care to know if someone is a toilet user or what kind of beer they drink. Hopefully this just dies out on it's own a little bit.

Mine isn't actually serious. It is a joke in fact. Poking fun at once at Cam'ron and his technicolor dreamcoat and at this ridiculous 'I like this thing' fad. It is ironic (and not in the Jordon sense)!

I like the animated version that takes up less space - did mine up like that after seeing Calgary Flames version above.

After much thought and searching, I think I found one I can keep for a while. Until I get PhotoShop and make a new one anyways.

being technically challenged..how do you get them to rotate like that on one line..I like that idea much better!
