Rafikov again, there are doubts about him coming over but if he does he has tons of upside.

Most of these guys hold no interest for me, but if I had to rank them (in reverse order):
Harrison: He can hit, but that's about it.
Bruce: Big, but pretty awful at every aspect of the game.
Rafikov: Russian never played a game in N.A. and has bounced around a little.
Karnaukhov: Former WHL player who decided to return to Russia to play pro. May never come back.
Morrison: Solid college player who looks like the AHL might be a bit much for him, never mind the NHL.
Kanzig: slow and steady progress, but might not ever be an NHL player
Falkovsky: Has some major things to work on, but is an intriguing package who has a chance to work out long term as a depth defender.
Rittich: actually played well in a pro league. Might need some time to adjust to N.A., but could be a good depth option in net.
So for me, this is easily Rittich's round.

Yeah I picked Rittich too. Still have some hope for Kanzig too for some reason.

Wow. Last year there were people who thought Morrison might make the team as a 6-7 D and now he's not going to be top 30. I didn't think he'd drop this far

Yeah Rittich gets my vote this time and next it's Falkovsky depending on where he plays next season. I have some hope for all of them but realistically the rest are cannon fodder.

I think Bruce has only got 1 vote through all 30 rounds. And that was probably a miss click. Poor guy.

Like I mentioned before, the Flames wouldn't sign Rittich if they didn't see something in his game. That is good enough for me.
I'm somewhat curious about where Stepan Falkovsky is playing next year. Is he going back to the 67s? Of the big defenceman left on the list, he's put up big enough numbers that he seems to be more than just a big shutdown dman. He's probably my next pick.

No doubt. It's pretty funny how some posters make assumptions one way or the other without really watching a player.
In regards to Morrison, I think he will have a good bounce back year. He really had the short end of the stick last year in regards to ice time

His play was very inconsistent and largely uninspiring. Not physical, not great in his own end, and hot and cold offensively - mostly cold.

Not going to disagree with you, but I just think it would do him a great amount good if he wasn't constantly worried about getting taken out of the line up for one mistake. He needs a little freedom to make mistakes and grow as a player

I'll bite, why exactly? Neither are very good, but there's at least a little bit of hope with Kanzig.

If Morrison didn't have one more year on his contract I doubt the Flames would have brought him back this season. He's a dead man walking and his only hope is getting a last second call from the governor.
