Going with the 25 and under with 65 or less games played at the NHL level which actually works pretty closely with my own rule of thumb of "anyone not too old that hasn't been penciled in".
Therefore Granlund, Ortio and Ferland are still prospects.
Monahan and Gaudreau are young but clearly established and no longer prospects. Bennett may be penciled in but he's only played 12 NHL games and is a prospect.
Wolf is going back to the DEL for his age 26 season.
He will be a UFA when he turns 27.
So while we own his rights, we won't own them once the season ends.
Technically as RFAs they have to be signed prior to December 1st to play this season.
You never know, they might have NHL out clauses in their contracts or there might be a mutual termination of their euro contracts (happened to Billins last year). But chances are very slim that happens.
