One of my favourite restaurants (Greek), and a place I worked at for years, is doing a buy one gift card, get one free. Pretty sweet deal...not exactly sure of the restrictions though. Facebook link: https://www.facebook.com/BrokenPlateKitchenAndBar/

EDIT: No restrictions on amount. Crazy.

I have found it to be the same prices in general when looking at specific electronic equipment. There are sometimes better doorcrashers on Boxing Day. This is purely anecdotal and not based on any data, so I would be curious what others thinj.

I recall rtings did an analysis of this and concluded that November and May are the best times to buy TV's. The actual Black Friday and Boxing Day have become pretty much irrelevant other than for the door crasher deals as you note. My experience is that , other than the odd door crasher, the price on Black Friday/Boxing Day is the same price you can get for a week before and a week after.

Any jersey sales? Or is Hot House membership, 25% off the Fan Attic about as good as it would get?

Looking into an apple watch for the wife, Best Buy is advertising the Series 2 for $350 for BF. Any better deals out there?

Sportcheck has the Reebok jerseys for 50% off. They had retros in all sizes but medium. Pretty good deal to get one of the nicest looking jerseys in recent years. Plus the Fan Attic may still have the 50% off cresting of Reebok jerseys, not sure about that one though. https://www.sportchek.ca/categories/...330927699.html

My kids expressed an interest in getting into vinyl and I see this as an opportunity to dump all my old records so I am looking for deals on some all-in-one turntables. Anybody see anything like that?

Of all places, I saw some at Winners Northland. I think they were 99 bucks with speakers.

I'm looking on the Best Buy website and I'm seeing the Series 2 watch for $389. Was the $350 in their flyer?

Does Fanattic have a sale better than the 25% hot house though on Black Friday? Want to get my son a Gaudreau jersey.

PSN has some pretty good deals going

Picked up Horizon Zero Dawn a few weeks back for $35. Fantastic game. You can now get it for even cheaper at $25.

Thinking of picking up Witcher 3 at $27.

Anyone ever dealt with Openbox before? Their prices look great. Refurbished? Something is up

Costco has the Vizio TV I was thinking of up.

The 55" Sony isn't up for sale.

Posted this in the Google Home thread, but Google Homes are $99 each right now, which is an $80 savings.

I have a pretty decent shareplan with the wife (10GB + 1GB bonus, <$150 for both lines). She needs a new phone but i don't want to a) change my monthly cost by more than $10 or so, and b) don't want to put in a downpayment of more than $200 on the phone...

If i can get a decent deal on an Iphone 6 or 7 that meets the above parameters, i'll bite.

Is black friday sales for new mobile phone offers better than xmas/boxing day sales?
I think you might have a tough time finding discounts on just hardware without a contract renewal to a premium (ludicrous pricing) plan. I'd say your best bet may be the used market, but I might be wrong. $150 for that much data and 2 lines is pretty darn good and I would hang onto that.

Rogers did come out with a limited time 1GB bonus on all their share everything plans today. Free S8 with contract renewal and free Google home with android purchase and renewal as well.
