Interesting..... we bought the C7 which only has a different shell. Maybe upgraded speakers but we don't use them. It looks like our deals were about the same but we had to work for it.

Yeah that's what I was thinking too -- by the time PS5 rolls around it will run everything (including Blurays) in native 4K, there will probably be prevalent 4K cable TV stations, and nice big 4K TV's will be readily available for well under $1K. And at least 1 of my kids will be in school. That will be the time to upgrade for this guy.

So that Canadian stores don't lose all sales to American companies. With shipping being cheap/free, and many of us living close to a border crossing, Canadian companies would be missing out on tons of sales if they didn't offer it. This doesn't seem like a tough concept.

Yeah the C7 has a different bezel. Not speakers though, that’s the E7.

If people with TVs are looking for a token 4K blu Ray player, they’re basically going to fire sale those Xbox one s’s (####ing stupid naming, do I even use a “‘s”?)
Anyhow Shoppers is giving you a $100 gift card right now. If you have 95,000 of their points to redeem for $170 you’ll get it for like $60 all in after tax. They might even let you use the gift card on the same transaction and save you even more in tax.
Propbably going to see a ton of them on kijiji.

Yeah, looks like Best Buy is selling it for 230 outright. Probably the new price everywhere.

Hoping for a good deal on a Canon 80D body. Sold my 60D a few weeks ago so right now only have lenses. See that BB will have 80D + kit lens for $1350. I believe it was that low a few months ago when on sale. Right now the body only is on sale for $1399 so hopefully it comes down a bit more.
