Honestly, same thing with the teams that desperately need a defensive rock like Tanev. On a team that's close, Tanev puts you over the edge IMO. Way more than adding a forward to park on the 3rd line at the trade deadline just to add someone.

Toronto for example should be doing whatever it takes to outbid other teams for Tanev since their defending is going to sink them yet again otherwise.

Would Tanev make that big of a difference on Toronto? I think he is a better fit in Dallas.

Jersey and Carolina should be all in on Markstrom.
