Florida is a great place to go to win, but also a pretty good place to go even if you don't care so much about winning. That is both a blessing and a curse for the franchise and they have to be careful who they attract.

Is it possible to fleece Tampa if they don't have anything left in the cupboard?

The last few years they've been tossing around draft picks like there is no tomorrow:

Coleman for N. Foote (recent 1st rounder) and 1st
Goodrow and 3rd for 1st and Greco
Lashoff and Savard for 1st, 3rd, 4th
Hagel, 4th, 4th for 1st, 1st, Katchouk and Raddysh
Jeannot for C. Foote, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th

The only one of those that was bad was Jeannot. Hanifin doesn’t fit the mo of the player they overpay for.
