Quite possibly the worst match I've seen from Felix in the last 18 months. Oh well, better to have a clunker like this now than at the Aussie Open.

Shapo and De Minaur are going the distance - Denis won the first set 7-6 and was up 4-2 in the second set, but the Aussie rolled off four straight games to take set 2 6-4.

De Minaur takes it 6-7 6-4 6-2 in 3 hours and 1 minute. Australia has an insurmountable 2-0 lead with the doubles remaining.

Two guys to watch this year.
JJ Wolf of USA and Yannik Sinner of Italy.
Two guys that look like your neighborhood kid. But both absolutely destroy the ball.

Haven't seen much of Wolf, Girly, but I'll take your word for it. Another up-and-coming American to watch is Tommy Paul, I think he is poised to make some noise this season. Sinner won the ATP Newcomer of the Year (over Felix) as well as the NextGen tourney in Milan and yes, he has a ton of game.

Aussie Open may be in jeopardy as the bush fires continue to roar unabated down under. New Zealand skies are orange.

Big day for Canada. If they can sweep the Germans they have a good shot a making the knockout stage. Only 2 of the 2nd place teams will qualify so with tie breakers every game will count.

Why does the ATP Cup exist when we have the Davis Cup? Does the ATP make no money from the Davis Cup so they created their own tournament?

Sweep the Germans? Felix got crushed by Struff.

Yeah, that was some pretty ugly tennis from Felix. To be fair, Struff played very well.

Better news in match #2 as Shapo is up a double break in the opening set over Zverev.

I think so, in Davis Cup you get no ranking points but for this you do, which makes no sense to me

Zverev looks lost out there and Shapo is taking full advantage.
