Fleury not even breaking a sweat tonight. I expect to see him in net tomorrow against the Flames.

Hopefully they use up all their bullets tonight and have none left for tomorrow!

5 goals on 15 shots against Markstrom.

Oh the horror.

Brian Burke gave this awesome quote from Treliving on HNIC

“Giving the MVP to a non playoff player is like giving it to the best sailor on the Titanic”

The Oilers would have to go what? 10-3-1 or something like that.

They're done, but I hope they keep pushing hard so that they go into next season with serious hope and a cap crush that makes them do nothing but public relations in the summer.
Except it is actually even worse than that. Because if Minny goes 6-6-1 they probably won't get in either. As it stands right now, we have:

MIN: 74, 13 games remaining
ARI: 73, 14
COL: 72, 13

The team that does the best down the stretch gets 8th, and the Oilers have to get past that. It is a near certainty that at least one of these teams will make it to 89 points. That would mean the Oilers would have to go 11-2-1 to get to 90 points (they don't have a lot of ROWs). And it would not be surprising if one of those teams got to 90 or 91 points. That would mean 12-1-1.

And they still have road games in VGK twice, ARI, COL, STL and CAL. They also have SJS at home.

That Ryan Reaves and Scott Oake interview was hilarious.

Damn, I guess Tre would have voted for Theodore over Iggy too.

The Hurricanes recovered from last night's debacle and beat the Predators 5-3 in Nashville. The eastern conference race from fifth place and lower will be an interesting finish. The BJs and Hurricanes won and the Islanders and Penguins lost.

Stars looked uninterested as they mailed one in to the 'Hawks 2-1

The same can be said for winning the conference. St. Louis is another possibility for the Flames in the 1st round.

Well said. I added the Stars to your list because they're in that race too. The Oilers have Dallas at home.

3 at 2 in regulation time

The Leafs aren't going to last long in the playoffs by letting 2 or 3 goal leads in the 3rd period disappear. Tavares was in on all 3 goals (1g, 2a). Stolarz was in net for the Oilers due to Koskinen being sick, he did well making 37 saves. The Oilers power play was brutal as they were 0 for 4 including a 2 man advantage.

2 at 3 in regulation time

The Bruins are going to give their fans heart attacks with these dramtic come from behind wins. It was the 3rd time this week they did this at home and the 2nd time in the last minute of reg time. The Bruins have won 10 straight at home and just finished a perfect 6 game home stand. Might as well start up a playoff series thread for the Leafs-Bruins because they're basically locked in now.
