Canes do have a lot of space. Interesting to see the compensation if any.

I also thought the title said Kuzmenko at first... Too sleepy.

Carolina was pretty quiet until yesterday. Now, not so much.

I think this is a great move for Carolina. Give him another chance and if it works, Carolina just found themselves a superstar. If not, he will be gone after next season.

Like this move a lot for Canes. They got retention on a highly, highly skilled player who could bounce back in a big way. Low risk with the retention.

I dunno, I used to highly rate Kuznetsov but his current form, even at 50% retained? He has been nothing short of awful.

Yeah. I don’t mind the gamble for Carolina but the real cap crunch is alleviating and I’m not sure if we will see a 1st moved for a short term dump again
