Wonder if having a cautionary tale like Elias Lindholm there helped him decide to sign this deal…probably not getting what he thought he might get. Petterson can always ask for a trade if he doesn’t like it in Van, and if necessary Van can retain to make it happen, all while Petterson gets his $$$$!
