Mooterus?
Sounds like the Avalanche are wearing Nordiques jerseys, so there may be additional jerseys outside the “reverse retro” theme.

Are we going to see 40+ new jerseys this season!?

They gotta make up the revenue shortfall somehow.

When are we releasing blasty 2.0 dammit. And it better be available on NHL 21. I’m sick of the flames ignoring their heritage. That jersey love it or hate it was a huge part of history and was one of the best black jersey theme uni ever produced. It’s time we at least all acknowledge it was a uni we wore. And the Logo itself should’ve been on the sleeves forever instead of the stupid flags. The Young guns era sucked. Sure, but 2002-2006 was pretty awesome aside from the lockout. And we wore it as a 3rd for most of that. All you blasty haters need to realize it wasn’t that bad of a uniform. The fatal flaw was making it the road jersey for all those years

I love the retro’s, definitely the right move, but there’s something about the black trim on the red logo that does make it pop that little extra...

I love all of those pedestal designs.

There we go. If you're going to go 90s with it, you go pedestal, not horsehead.

I like those way better.

I'm sort of thinking our fourth/retro might just be the original Blasty on the Adidas template. I'm not sure ours will have a reverse element, since there's already two red jerseys and a white. A black as the fourth makes sense.

Those look phenomenal! Makes me wonder what it would look like if you flipped the black and red in the third jersey

I feel old when a pedestal is considered retro. I grew up with those.

I do think that's something we start to see more of.

The NBA has moved to 4 jerseys per team and they change pretty much every year or every other year.

The NFL does frequent jersey changes and has 3-4 sets per team.

European soccer has had 3-4 new jerseys per team every year for as long as I can remember now.

My guess is we see the NHL move to a world where the Home and Away jerseys are pretty consistent, but that teams have new 3rd and 4th jerseys ever year or every other year.

As an aside I'm kind of ashamed about how much I like Blasty with the retro away jersey striping.

In the NBA they just wear whatever now, there isn't even a home or away jersey anymore.

The NBA probably has 4 sets per team like said above, plus another 2-6 sets for special occasions.

I’m sure Golden State wore around 10 different sets some years in the last while.

I would like to see the retro jersey home and aways with the Atlanta Flames "A". Rather than the generic one.

This might be an unpopular take but I hope they let the Atlanta A die. I’ve never been a fan of it. To me it looks just as cheesy as when they used a little flaming C for the captain.

I have to disagree.
I find the Atlanta A a classy nod to the past and that particular design translates well to a small size.
I agree with the flaming C. Looks cheesy so small.

Thanks for the kind words! Your thought also made me wonder that, so...

I don’t get it, I hated the pedestal before but your version of it looks pretty cool actually. What’s the difference?

I think it’s a cool idea, but I’m also just so sick of the flag uniforms that I don’t want to see any elements of it on a jersey for a while.
