Favorite jersey in my small collection and it's not even a Flames jersey (though that could change in the next few months as I'm working with a few folks for some custom ideas)

Not game worn, but about 15 years ago I was able to work with River City Sports to customize this Jets jersey to a 1993 style Tie Domi. I'm a sucker for all things '93 season and just love the look of the Stanley Cup Patch every team wore that year. I was also able to get "Goals for Kids" correct era style on there as well.

Yeah Hull, I should have included that but his name isn’t on it as per the style. Fits me like a cycling spandex long sleeve.

it just took me a while to remember who was 9 even though it was so obvious
Lanny was 7 as a Leaf but that team had several 7s so Lanny wore 12, Rick Martin (who happened to be along with Perreault my favorite player at the time) wore 8 etc

I've been collecting for about 10 years now:
26 authentics (6 are blank, 2 are game worn)

Spoiler!

All of the customized ones are here:

I originally set out to collect every style flames jersey that Iggy has worn. It kind of snowballed after that

Sounds like you'd appreciate an Iginla Penguins jersey.
It's available if anybody is interested.

My first jersey was a Bobby Orr which I bought back in 1980. Still have it and in excellent shape.

Spoiler!

I've never owned a jersey with a name on the back. I have a couple generic ones to wear to games, but I'm one of those guys that just looks silly in a jersey. I can't pull off the look. Similarly, I look awful in a baseball cap, because I have a gigantic melon sitting on top of a 5'6 body.

KG may have the most obscure jersey - if I recall he sports a Carsen Germyn jersey.

For 2020 I was thinking of renewing something I used to do before all my jerseys were lost, but I plan on getting the captain of every Stanley Cup winning team going forward.

I've got at least one of each era home/away/alternate up until the Adidas takeover (although I do have an Adidas Tkachuk). Can't remember them all off the top of my head, but highlights include:

'13 era retro McGrattan jersey that I happened to be wearing when I ran into him in the concourse and got a pic.

Autographed jerseys:

'89 Fleury away Jersey
'09 era Fleury away Jersey
'04 Blank home Jersey - (signed by Commodore & Oliwa)
'09 era Gio home jersey

Some nice collections going on in here!

Blank Team Canada, no special story, eBay purchase

Lanny McDonald on one of the retro vintage classic jerseys

Not a fan of this 3rd jersey but wanted to add it to the collection. Never worn it yet. Bought it blank while on sale at sport chek and had @Kolbe31 customize it for me. Amazing work as always

eBay purchase - blank

Another eBay purchase , it was a blank but got @Kolbe31 customize it. I don’t think this is a legit jersey, if someone could confirm that’d be great!

Another eBay purchase ... I know this one is a knock off. I was young when I bought this and regret not buying it from an actual store.

Iggy Heritage jersey - got tickets to the outdoor game so the wife bought this for me as my bday present. I think she got it from jersey city

Blank - this will become a iggy once the quarantine is done!

Gio! Purchased from FanAttic 3 years ago.

Retro Brodie from FanAttic, 4-5ish years ago

Adidas retro Mony, got this last year from FanAttic when the flames had their equipment sale

And my fav... Warrener jersey that I won in a draw signed by majority of the 05/06 roster.

The Kipper Blasty replica appears to be an early replica that CCM made around the time the Blasty was released. Looks legit to me.

That was a great OP Scorp. The story about the floods and how it impacted you was especially poignant.

I’m sorry about those hockey cards. Might be kind of fun to rebuild that collection...

I'm so over hockey cards, I could never really bear to look at them again after the flood. Making my own has been the only way to really rekindle that spirit (that collection is still on its way, but I've been working on other projects lately).

No it was actually for the Blasty jersey, I definitely know the Iginla one below is a fake. Actually I think I got you to confirm that iggy one years and years ago lol.
