I finished Couch to 5K this morning, and I've just been on cloud nine all day! The difference it has made to my physical and mental health in the past nine weeks has been incredible. I now confidently and comfortably run 5K three times a week, and I love it!
I put my running playlist on, and about a kilometre into each run my mind just clears. I feel so good. And I love the unspoken fraternity among runners. Everyone out for their morning runs always nods and smiles at each other or gives a wave as we pass each other (giving an especially wide berth due to the pandemic!).
Couch to 5K has been life-changing for me, and that's not hyperbole.

Drove all the way back to Calgary from Vancouver island today. The drive was fantastic. Not too busy. No idiot drivers. That made me happy. 15.5 hours door to door with some stops for the pup.

This is a feel good story for sure. On June 27 Windsor-Essex held a food drive for local food banks. It was put together in 4 weeks, 10,000 volunteers! In one day they collected over 2 Million lbs of food. A completely overwhelming response. All people had to do was leave the donation on their porch.

Having lunch with the family today, and I have the Hip on the ceiling speakers. Bobcaygeon comes on and my 2 year old girl starts dancing to it and actually knows some of the words. "I love this song Daddy". Man, can't wipe the smile off my face today.

To be fair is it really spoilers if it happened the first lap? Not like I ruined the ending
No way for me to know when they fail when i read it. I try to avoid all places for F1 spoilers on a Sunday, I just didn't expect it in this thread. Unfortunately I usually can't watch them live. Obviously yours was pretty minor. But a few years ago Cecil posted a major one in the funny thread right after the race. So was just hoping we could avoid it entirely for one day.
