Meh I’d rather a better first round draft pick from the Canucks. Let the Oilers have their meaningless title. They didn’t win it, Vancouver gave it to them.

Where does the Canucks pick end up if they're in the 2 or 3 Pacific seed?

Depends on how many non-division winners make the final 4. But likely somewhere in the 22-25 range.

Vegas PP with 9 min left. Could still go to OT to give both teams points. Petterson with an obvious interference- plowed over a guy who didn't have the puck. Not sure what he is complaining about.

It is hang on time for the Canucks. Garland's second goal of the game in the second period to give the Canucks a 4-3 lead could be the winning goal.

Big two points for the canucks. I can't stand Garland- such a punchable little weasel-face. Other than that, probably the least dislikable team the canucks have fielded in years. I'd like them to keep the oilers from bragging about anything this season.

Vegas stays in second wild card for now. Hopefully Hertl finds his groove in the next couple of games and they move into 3rd. Only one point back of the kings. It worries me Vegas doesn't look like the team they were last year. Maybe Stone comes back sooner than later, I'll allow it if helps them beat the scumbags up north.

^ Hertl looked pretty solid tonight, and didn't at all look out of place. If Stone and Adin Hill are back for the playoffs I feel they're poised to upset Edmonton in round one.

A round one loss for the Oilers would be the end of their dynasty lol. Drai (maybe even McDavid) will request a trade if they have another early exit.

The Kings are one point up on the Golden Knights with 5 games left to play each.

Kings:
@ Ducks
vs Flames
vs Ducks
vs Wild
vs Blackhawks

Vegas:
@ Oilers
vs Wild
vs Avs
vs Blackhawks
vs Ducks

I think LA is probably around 70% to finish in P3 and Vegas in the wild card.

Garland is a wizard at times, drives play and is relentless.
Wonder what your face looks like ?

All were wrong on the earlier predictions on this game. Canucks deserved the full 2 points.

As long as LA doesn't spoil what would surely be destiny by winning games again after stinking it up against the Oilers and Flames and looking terrible.

What a pointless waste that would be for them to line themselves up to be first round fodder again.

Just lose and take the wildcard, ya bozos. VAN is ripe for the picking.

Yikes, good call. I didn't realize LA has a much easier schedule than Vegas - on paper they should win all five games. Vegas, on paper, 3 of the five games.

Oh hey look, Canucks win and a gloating Canucks troll appears on the board. Now I remember what I dislike about the canucks.... their fans that come out of the woodwork when they have success.

Garland is a player who is an undersized yet gritty player who scores almost all of his goals from within 6 feet of the net. He has a muffin for a shot and does a weird spin move all the time and yet it successful in the league. He is a relatively unique player who looks like an angry elf.

‘Simplistic lazy comment’: an easy refuge when you can't actually tell your opponent he's wrong.

Never said he wasn't a relentless, hard-working player and he is having a great season for the canucks. Just said I didn't like him.

Asking what my 'face looks like' after I said I disliked Garland? That's about as 'simplistic and lazy' as it gets. Let me guess, you were the kid in school that said 'I know you are but what am I' when somebody insulted you.

Your initial post would have been about 90% more credible without that. Take it down a notch.

The only angry elves here are Canuck fans.

Nashville is going to eliminate them and you can feeeel it.

Also going to just clinch the division by the skin of their teeth, aren't they? Yeesh... how much cushion did they have even a couple weeks ago. Pathetic.
