But our conservatives voters that will get Smith in fit in two groups 1. uneducated, anti fact dummies that made up their mind as soon as the Russia inspired "reject the woke mob liberals" stuff infected social media and;

2. conservatives that always vote conservatives and despite how absurd, dangerous and ****ed up Danielle Smith and the UCP are they'll "hold their nose" and vote for her and then we're ****ed.

Those damn personal choice Conservative's. anti-your facts.

It’s impressive at this stage people clinging to the “uneducated” narrative.

The good news is you’ll fall in line with Smith the same way you fell in line with Justin. We’ll just hear you whine and complain more, instead of bragging about how much smarter you are than your neighbor.

It's not a narrative, it's a fact.

Given Smith's words and actions, you do have to be an utter moron to support her.

Well between University and College educated people that’s doesn’t look like a huge gap?

To me that correlates to people with post-secondary education having higher degrees of analytical thought around the purpose, funding, and community objectives of government. It also suggests to me that these same people are not as easily convinced by simple philosophies of things like "taxes bad", and consider the issues of the efficacy of public programs and institutions with more analysis.

To consider the NDP in Alberta is to consider what priorities are important to style of governance, including prioritizing things like healthcare, education, an climate change.

It’s pretty gross calling people with college degrees, I assume that is referring to trades people in general Morons. Then give a pass to the university educated voting UCP.

With that Split you could say it’s Men who vote UCP

I didn't say people in trades are morons, I said you'd have to be an utter moron to support Smith at this point.

And yet thousands of Albertans far more intelligent than you, I or many others here will vote for Smith. It's major oversimplification to say that intelligence is the difference between voters of one party compared to another. There are lots of personal reasons, many selfish ones which applies to all voters.

Nah, anyone who votes for Smith is a complete idiot. Any of their perceived intelligence is revoked.

They aren't all idiots. There are also some very smart narcissists and psychopaths who only care for themselves.

Honestly though, anyone making an income of less than 6 figures voting for the UCP is either dumb, gullible, a bigot or a separatist. I have yet to have anyone give me an example of 1 thing the UCP would do better for the everyday Albertan.

As a rough correlation I agree with your line of thinking, however I would point out that as time moves forward and the amount of 30-40 something's with advanced degrees and five to six figures in student loan debt increases, the automatic conclusion that post secondary education = higher levels of analytical thought might be called into question . . .

Yeah, that was a ridiculously stupid comment from Smith. It has to make her top-10 list of stupid remarks.

I'm sure that more video of her will surface soon proving that wrong.

I have multiple family members who will be in the “plug the nose and vote UCP” category. I truly don’t get this position. I can’t understand how it’s possible to think we’d be worse off giving power to a party you believe will spend too much, versus giving power to the UCP and straight up telling them that no matter how far right they swing, no matter how crazy they get, that they have our vote no matter what.

Would it really be that terrible to let NDP put a bunch of money into health and education for four years and then bring back the conservatives to make us great again after that?

I hope that video gets picked up by the media and goes mainstream. Smith is a total buffoon. Unreal how bad / embarrassing she has been for this province, and in only a matter of months. Just add it to the trash heap that is the UCP and 'conservatism' in this province in 2023. The fact that Smith's own government muzzles her during election time is so telling of what her own party thinks of her.
