I have found it is hard to win at any sport when your opponent makes no mistakes. What a clinic.

Wow. Koe with the must single there. Now he's playing for the force. Mcewen would love a blank which probably leaves him some crazy double for the win.

Ice seems wonky right now. Rocks all over the place and a bunch of total misses in the last few ends here.

That was incredible. Three guys working the brooms like that, just an awesome sports moment.

Thrilled for Koe! He has every trophy other than an Olympic medal. Time to get one.

I had so much fun watching curling this week. More than I have seen in years.

Funny Koe said at the hog line he thought he didn't have it.

That last shot is why people who dont understand the sport...begin to understand the sport.

Unbelievable. I thought he was dead at the hog...but those boys just willed that rock another 4 feet.

Really unfortunate Chelsea didnt finish the deal, but full credit to Homan and crew.

I am so disappointed in myself for forgetting this was on until Friday. Best bonspiel in the world. It's not even close.

On the women's side, sure it would have been nice for the hometown team to win but I was rooting for Homan. She's got ice cold veins and comes up in the big games. For some reason I just can't get behind Carey. I just don't trust them when it counts. And there's something about that team's on ice demeanour that rubs me the wrong way.

On the men's side, how can't you love McEwen and his boys. There's no one I'd rather hit the Patch with or see atop the podium. But Koe & co are a freakin machine. That's who I want to bet on to win Olympic gold.

What a bonspiel! Those final games were just incredible to watch and the two teams I was cheering for all week got the wins. They will both be great Canadian reps at the Olympics. I will say McEwen really impressed me - by far the best game I've seen him play. Hopefully Mike & Dawn win the doubles trials.

Perception is a funny thing because i feel the exact same way about Homan...dont like her demeanor on the ice what so ever.

Disclaimer: I'm a Cheryl Bernard fangirl.

She's going to the Olympics as Homan's alternate. I think it's freaking awesome.
