I will already be in attendance, wearing my fanciest waders ; ), helping out with the silent auction. Some items up for grabs are float trips (Bow and Missouri), rods, fly-lines, packs, flies, casting clinics/lessons, fish and other wildlife art and prints, and some wine baskets box things, etc.
I could round up one or two peeps to chip in to fill the table though.

I will buy one seat - my partner strangely does not want to go to a fly-fishing festival!

I went ice fishing for the first time on New Years Day. Few things i've decided. Find friends with a tent, heater, gas auger and don't go when the high is -35 : )
It wasn't that bad though, had truck on the ice to sit in and warm up. Also, playing fish with just your hands on the line is kind of fun. I would imagine really hard though if the fish was of size. The pike on the line here is maybe 30 inches? Not too big at all.
I would be down to try some ice fishing on one of the mountain lakes.

Yeah, rumour has it that the owner, Mike, is spending half the year running the Palometa lodge/club down in Mexico (I think they are known for permit fishing?) Have not heard/seen much regarding whether or not they will honour outstanding gift cards.
Some details regarding dinner will be available this week.

I still have do the survey, on it now.
When I went to the info session regarding ES2 I was shocked at how few people had actually done the survey. I can’t remember what the number was but low.

this thread doesn't even make sense anymore.
We need a Fishing 2018 thread. Or even better, a timeless fishing thread.

Fish don't know what year it is. Except for Brown Trout - they are crafty!

Lots of lakes and ponds winter killed bad this year with many pictures in a lot of our Facebook fishing group. Worst I have seen is Crimson with thousands of dead floating perch. Bruce a lot of floating pike just to name a few. Going to be bad for many shallow trout lakes this year.
