Flames top 4 forwards haven’t been good for 2 1/2 months now.

Before the all star break Gaudreau, Monahan, Lindholm, Tkachuk combined for 101 goals in the Flames 51 games. Since then they combined for 33 goals in the last 34 games including playoffs.

Luckily the bottom 6 stepped up to help keep us in first but the top lines poor play isn’t just a playoff thing at this point. It’s been going on for a while.

Some of these comments about Johnny are disgusting. “Not a winner”, “no compete.” The team is having a brutal night and all we do is target our superstar. No wonder why players don’t want to play in a Canadian market. I sure as hell wouldn’t want to play for the flames after reading some of the garbage on here.

Linholm has oddly escaped most of the criticism over the past 30 games or so, but he's a shadow of the player he was - at least offensively.



Just way too many passengers right now, and it's mostly the skilled players on the team.

He’s a small skilled player who’s game isn’t suited for playoffs. Soon as the game gets physical he’s rendered ineffective because he can’t take a hit.
