Totally impressed with the Finnish team and the depth of hockey talent in that country. Finland seems to be going in the opposite direction of Canada from a sports point of view. Canada is getting better in other sports and not so dominant in hockey anymore. Young Finns(men and women)are totally gravitating towards hockey.

Mark Stone is having a whale of a tourney. 8th goal has Canada up 1-zip.

Pierre-Luc Dubois makes it 3-0 and the Czechs make a goalie change.

Matt Murray has been sensational between the pipes for Canada today and the Canadians take a 3-0 lead into the 2nd intermission.

What a rush down the ice by Mantha and then a great feed to Turris who makes it 4-0 Canada.

Well, Game 1 rematch in the final

As expected Canada looks a lot better now than at the start of the tournament, and Finland will be the underdog by a ridiculous extent. I can't see how Finland would win tomorrow, but what do I know. I didn't think they could beat Russia either, and it's not like they were expected to beat Sweden.

This has been a really fun tournament regardless of what happens tomorrow

So the Czechs are down 4 - 0 and yet they have played a perfectly disciplined game with no penalties and four pps. Yup.

Tomas Zohorna is incredibly fast and shifty. A few plays where he has gotten himself a breakaway.

Frolik named one of the top 3 players of the tournament for Czech. Hopefully this tournament increases his trade value.

Yeah, hopefully the Flames can trade him for someone like a Frolik.

I agree, my comment was really about the emerging depth in Finnish hockey, their woman won the final and they have been arguably the best team in the last 10 years at the junior competition.

I really don't like medals being decided by 3 on 3, but it's definitely better than a shootout.

Well, so much for that. Worst of all worlds, we get a shootout anyway. Time to find something else to watch.
