I've seen probably around 90 of the top 100 of the adjusted list. Got to be more like 95 of the top 100 all time non adjusted (either domestic or worldwide). Only a few of the fairly recent children's movies I haven't seen.
Of that list top 100 I have not seen

Avatar
Lord of the Rings franchise
Lion King
Fantasia
The Robe (dont even remember hearing about this one)
Finding Dory

Cool to see The Sting on there and quite high....maybe the most under rated movie of all time.

I love The Sting. Such a good movie.

The one that stood out that I'd never heard of was Love Story. I had to google it.

Here's the worldwide non adjusted list in case anyone is interested. It is almost exclusively movies from the 2000s so I don't like it as much but still applies to this thread.

The Globe Theatre on 8th usually (used to) does a midnight showing of Die Hard around Christmas.

It’s the best way to see that movie.

LIAR. The Die Hard franchise ended with Die Hard With a Vengeance. Like how they stopped making Rocky movies with IV and the third and final Indiana Jones.

I haven't seen any of the Harry Potter movies either. No one in my household is really in the target demographic for it, so it would be weird to throw it on.

No Marvel Comics movies except Ironman. I just have no interest, Ironman didn't do it for me.

I saw the three original Star Wars movies in theatre and enjoyed them - and took my kids to one of the 90s remakes. But haven't seen the other new ones.

The blockbuster seems to be dying a slow death if it isn't Marvel or Star Wars. I get there are other franchises...just fewer.

It occured to me that I never watched 'Joker', I have never much cared for any 'origin' stories and I loathe the tendency to pretend what is in the end a kids comic book is in fact adult and so 'dark'

Just seen pieces of the Godfathers.

I suppose I have done myself a disservice as an avid movie goer.

Movies from before my time don't resonate with me as much, I've found (with exceptions). I've concluded that I might just be a sucker for more modern production quality.

I'm curious, whats considered a target demographic of Harry Potter?

The trick is if you can answer that inoffensively.

Well worth watching, it's not a comic book movie really. It's a pretty amazing movie. From what I've seen of your posting history and personality I think you'd really like it.

Using Cecil's Boxofficemojo top 100.

#41 Love Story (I don't know what this says about me)
#53 Pirate's of the Caribbean _ Dead Man's Chest (I'll watch it, but not in a hurry)
#79 Finding Dory (Dory will likely remain unfound)
#80 Harry Potter ATSS (Watched the first bit up until the Quittich Game and then shut it off, and I never shut off movies)
#94 Transformers Revenge of the Fallen (they fell for a reason)
#102 Toy Story 3 (I honestly can't remember if I saw this, this is the first movie that is on my 'will watch' list)
#107 Duel in the Sun (a Selznick/Vidor movie. I will watch this)
#108 Frozen II (I thought they thawed, so it's over)
#120 Harry Potter 2 (no interest)
#121 Toy Story 4 (for sure missed this one)
#137 Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse (starting to get a little nichey at this point)
#142 Harry Potter Goblets or something (neh)
#145 Harry Potter Secrets of whatever (peh)
#150 Transformers Dark of Moon (didn't this have John Tuturro for some reason?)
#160 Secret Life of Pets (probably would watch if it was on in the room)
#166 Harry Potter and Order food maybe (heh)
#186 Harry Potter and Half-bloods (cancelled)
#190 Harry Potter and Prisoners (it turned to porn at this point I think)
#199 Zootopia (not rushing out for this one)

And that's it. I see a trend. Bolded I will watch.

There's a reason these movies have fans. They're typically pretty damn good. Not watching something because it's popular is a stupid reason not enjoy a good movie. You don't lose your street cred because you watched Harry Potter or Captain America.
Except Titanic. #### that movie.

Yes, Mel Gibson is a horrible human. He’s also an exquisite director, and this is easily his finest achievement.

The performances, the cinematography, the Scottish landscapes, James Horner’s score, the practical effects, JAMES HORNER’S SCORE.

For real. You’ll be humming the music for weeks - the only reason James didn’t win an Oscar that year is because he was also nominated for Apollo 13, and he split his own vote.

Braveheart is the movie Gladiator wishes it was, and I really enjoy Gladiator.
Well, thanks for reading my mind and posting exactly what I wanted to say. I think; but it is kind of creepy.
