Dillon Dube, Matthew Phillips, Jakob Pelletier, Artyom Zagidulin were the standouts from my perspective.

Dube looks so good that I want Peters to consider the possibility of him as the 2C this year

Love the optimism but lets see how things play out before anointing Dube our 2C this season.

yeahhhh that wasn't what I meant. I understand the confusion of my wording -- I just want him to be considered as a possibility for a top-six centre role, given that Peters has raised the idea of malleability surrounding the top-six centres before. keep Lindholm on the wing and keep the first line intact

hopefully the revised post and this one make that clear

No one stood out on oilers. PBP can’t say that so they make stuff up. Phillips, Dube and Zag were the best players on ice for either team. Pospisil noticeable.

Ha, they're having a really hard time with the Edmonton player skating into and falling over an unaware Flames player at the end thinking it was a trip. Pospisil was also pretty fun to watch at times, along with the players mentioned above.

I think eventually he is there for sure, just not quite yet. Its gonna take quite a performance to bump Backs.

God he has so much patience out there with the puck. Ice in his veins. Head up, aware of his teammates. It delights my soul to see such high IQ and so little panic in a young player, just about doing what he likes out there.

Have to think it clicks for him at the NHL level this season with that toolbox.

I was sitting right next to the Flames players box so I made sure to give Zagadulin a huge cheer as he walked off. We had a little moment.

Dillon Dube stopping to say "Thank you guys for coming out" as he starts signing autographs. Quality kid.

I see Bouchard is the next overrated Oilers prospect.

I wouldn't mind seeing him beside Backlund & Tkachuk on the shutdown line.

Pospisil is fun to watch. Wish he was as skilled as he he is mean.

I actually think Benson has more potential than Bouchard.
