Why even play him now? It seems kind of silly to risk such a valuable asset during this stage of the negotiations. Will two extra games really be the deciding factors for scouts and GMs watching him?

He’s good but I really just don’t see Hanifin winning the Vezina this year. I guess crazier things have happened.
