Looks like today's Calgary weather is downright summerlike compared to that day.

Hope they can keep the streak alive, first 5 game winning streak this year. Keep Wildcard spots in reach, 5 points may seem like a lot but (finally) with some games in hand, plus Preds could falter soon enough; Flames 'control destiny' versus the Kings too.
After all the time off and after the Tanev trade, then add in the Kipper ceremony, will be interesting to see how the game goes.
In any case, gotta have this one.

Funny not that excited. Reminds me of years of Murray Edwards mismanagement and how far away from glory this team is.
What could have been.

Has Calgary ever won a “retirement” game? I seem to recall them shatting the bed for the last few.

I mean...when he was 'happy' I really liked Lindholm, when he sulked, somewhat less so, but Kuzmenko just seems like a happy guy.
Now all he needs to do is start burying pucks.

Hopefully Mike Smith doesn’t make an appearance tonight.

Flames beat Hartford 5-4 on Lanny Retirement night.
Blackhawks beat Flames 3-2 on Vernon Retirement night.
Wild beat Mike Smoth 4-2 on Iginla Retirement night.
I’ve been looking forward to the night for a long, long time.
Wait! There’s a game tonight too??

I'd keep him on the team purely for his interviews alone.

I have not found a single Cansucks fan who didn't adore Kuzy. Every last one I have talked to is still enamoured with him and demands we treat him like the glowing soul he is.

Considering it’s the only game on. What are they going to show, poker or darts?
