Incoming Flames shake up

In Calgary, just get a sense that management may be feeling a shake-up is necessary... not getting the results and not scoring ... time to make some "adjustments".

While I think it's good if they bring up a few guys and bench Stajan and Brouwer (the latter won't happen), why not make the most obvious shakeup and get rid of the coaching staff. Legit reasons or Treliving not wanting to admit his giant mistake?

I could see something around Lazar for Anthony Duclair, with F.Hamilton and Stajan being sent down for call-ups.
However, the biggest shake-up by far needs to happen behind the bench before dismantling things. I really want to see how this roster does with some different people calling the shots.

All this is very frightening considering, it does not address the main issue, management thinks this team is playing well, and the solution is a trade. Likely for an established player and likely to include a prominent Flames prospect or draft pick.

Just a general "thank you" for starting a dedicated thread on this. I visit the trade thread regularly, but for legitimate Flames sources it is nice to have a dedicated thread.

I think if Duclair was an option, he’d already be here... his name has come up lots over the last few years.
I expect that Tre and the other Arizona alumni know all about him and believe he’s not worth much.
