Well, that's one of the strangest double plays I have ever seen...
Bases loaded for the Red Sox, short flyball to Saunders in left, he drops the ball, throws home for the force out and then Monterro throws to third to complete the double play. Outfield fly rule? LOL
Gotta give the umpires credit. I didn't think they could look dumber than they have already this year, and then they refuse to call this game. Nobody can grip either the ball or their bats anymore. It's only a matter of time before someone gets hurt.

The players are just playing out the string too, trying not to get hurt.
It has been much more enjoyable watching the Jays lose with the kids getting lots of playing time. Some decent pitching prospects there with Mayza and Ramirez and Urena and Hernandez both look promising if not out of place in the field.
The highlight for anyone in Western Canada is a four-game stand in Seattle over the August long weekend.

The future for Teoscar Hernandez being on the Jays will probably be start of 2018 season and the future for Richard Urena also being on the big club could be a lot sooner than I would've thought, as in perhaps full time for 2019 season.
These kids are legit good.
