Default Fit 4 Less

Anyone have any experiences with these guys? The opened a new gym at Sunridge and I'm thinking of switching gyms to them. Are the upgraded membership perks worth the extra $$?

Wait, it’s fit for less, but it costs more?

I used to go to the one just off Southland and McLeod.
It was always packed, and the kind of dudes who live at the gym basically dominated the free weights/rack areas.
If they've opened a few more, it might be more bearable, but overall I was not particularly impressed. I know part of the reason is so cheap is the savings on minimal facilities infrastructure, and it may have changed since I was last there a few years ago, but they didn't even have a water fountain to fill water bottles.

I go to the MacLeod location.

I'm a night owl, so the 2-4 am window is perfect for me. Usually only just 1 other person when I'm there. And $5.24 every 2 weeks is nothing.

It was great when it first opened, and then the secret got out and it got really busy really quick. The one at Southland isn’t very big so I felt like I spent a lot of time waiting for machines to open up. I left because I went away for school, but decided not to return. I pay more now but I have a better experience and the gym I go to now is much closer to my house.

I would say that this gym is perfect for students or kids looking to save a few bucks, or as AC said if you can do nights then it’s good then too, but if you work days and can afford it I would recommend spending the extra money to go to a different gym.
