Positive goal differential and just one win regulation win away from being .500 in regulation too.

The Isles' broadcast crew was just as flummoxed on the offside goal and it took them a long time to isolate the path of the puck. I said in the game thread but it was funny that Francis was going off on the officials on the play (egregious, I believe, was the word he used) when he, too, hadn't followed the puck when he said the player was 20ft offside.

I thought the Sharangovich line was going to get caved in, as well. I'm gladly eating crow.

And lets not forget Sharangovich moving to center.

Great numbers in the first three games playing a key role in his own zone and transitioning the puck.

Yeah Sharangovich at center, and that line in general, has been way, way better than I expected. Now I do think they’re getting a ton of o zone starts but doesn’t take away from how well they’re playing. One guy healthy scratched in the playoffs last year, one guy traded after his coach losing all faith in him and the other guy had been the whipping boy for local fans for 120+ games. It’s the redemption line.

If Sharangovich is a good centre, that Toffoli trade becomes an even bigger W. Craig Conroy for the win.

Somehow despite losing Lindholm, Ruzicka, Dube, and Greer the Flames seem deeper at forward. All four lines are rolling well and have chemistry for the first time this season.

Pachal is an upgrade on Oesterle, and Kylington is quietly fitting in nicely.

Pachal seems better than Desimmone as well. Lose a guy to waivers, to pick up a better one.

Greer + Pachal >>> Ruzicka.+ DeSimone

Yeah they don’t miss Ruzicka one bit. Nor will they.

Greer is a nice player but replaceable. I like the guys on the 4th line right now.

Kadri line having a tough night met my eye test. Of all the lines they were the ones who couldn't get the puck out very well. Zary and Pospisil were the only minus players on the might I think.

Kadri line got filled in ... your eyes were correct.

Odd that Ruzicka hasn't played yet for Arizona. Have they realized he's not good enough but don't want to put him back on waivers?

Flames have left the rest of the pack behind and now clearly are the 10th team in the West.

Made up some ground on Nashville, but not making up ground on St. Louis.
