I don't have much faith. Its going to be tough to win 3 in a row against a team that's playing over their head and things are rolling like the Oilers.

The flames failed so far to take advantage of what bought them to the dance.

Winning the 4th game is the hardest thing in hockey. Staying alive while standing on a pile of banana peels is really hard as well.

Weird to think this maybe the last game Gaudreau plays for the Flames.

The hockey gods have not been kind to this team. Not just in this series, but in general over the last 30+ years they've been downright mean to us. I feel like they owe us one tonight.

Like the character Switch from the Matrix, don't let it end like this, not like this.

Iggy on the FAN I wonder if he is at the dome tonight? Give the team a pregame speech about not letting opportunities like this slip

I’d be shocked if the Flames win tonight but it probably just delays the inevitable for a few days. Still, it would be nice to be spared the humiliation of being eliminated at home. Guess we’ll see just how much pride the players have.

Not looking for faith, not looking for hope.

Looking to just win tonight. Further, just score the next goal. That's it.

That's all we have to do.

Man.... really want to keep flying my car flag tomorrow.

Thats the only thing I can think of having seen a good number on the drive to work this morning. Please win so we can keep flying our Flames car flags with pride.

I would be pretty disappointed to lose four in a row to the Greasers after the season we had. So please win, team. I would appreciate it.

Some strategies I would like the Flames to try

-play the body hard on Draisaitl. McD has shown he can be physical and roll off hits. Let's go after Draisaitl. He's still hobbled; hitting him will slow him down. He's also a hothead, and prone to taking retaliatory penalties when annoyed.

-more Amharic curses.

-I noticed the Flames with a lot of cross-ice dump ins, presumably to keep the puck away from Smith. I'd like them to do the opposite -- lob it right at him then skate straight at him. Even if there are 2 or 3 flames around him, I could see Smith still trying to play the puck, and it leading to an easy Mike Smith special.

-bring back purple gatorade power.

-attack the Edmonton Defense. Ceci, Nurse, Keith, Barrie, Bouchard, Kulak... These are not good defensemen. We should be exposing them for the frauds they are. Nurse is a glorified Kris Russell -- goes down to block anything. Fake a shot and go around him. Ceci Keith and Kulak are slow. Barrie and Bouchard don't actually know how to defend.

-get a mole to go to Edmonton's viewing party. Get them to start the wave.

Desperate times, ladies and gents - time to bust out the Turek Blasty that I wore every game of the 2004 run.

Pray it’s enough.

Start Vladar, flames defence was actually not bad last gamen better than Edmonton's defence where even 5 on 5 they were trapped in their own zone like the flames had a power play.

Well I did not expect to be down 3-1 against the Oilers before this series started. But here we are.

I fully expect a win tonight, but the 2 huge wild cards are Markstrom and taking penalties.

We should see the Flames playing their absolute best hockey, legit do or die. I dont see this group dying in game 5. Stay out of the box, and Markstrom stay in your net.

Go Flames Go!

Just don't let them close the series on your home ice. That's all I ask for tonight. We'll worry about Saturday when it comes.

For whatever reason I feel good about this game. Think its because Im at the acceptance stage of grieving and to me we've already lost the series, so anything positive from here is great!

From cup contenders to "please just let the elimination happen on the road".

I don't know what is more depressing so far, the Flames staying on-brand and wetting the bed in the playoffs, or the dreariness of abysmally low fan expectations.

Forget faith and hope. Just go out and execute.

Do it again in Edmonton.

See ya in 7.
