Likewise. My 950XL is currently a test/dev-only phone for me at this point. The SE's size is perfect, it fits in my pocket and in the car's little center console cubby... and I'll be damned, the battery lasts me an entire day of heavy use (including work mail, work IMs/VoIP calls, Reddit and stupid ass games) and I have 20% remaining when I go to bed at 1 AM. I had to either recharge mid-day or have a dead phone by 7 PM.
The iPhone SE is not all roses though (though my criticisms apply to the entire iPhone range). I hate the UX, it's probably the worst thing I've ever used, with Android coming in second. iOS is worse in that what started out as a very simple and straightforward execution has had bits soldered on here and duct taped there. Even as a competitor, I always respected what I thought I understood Apple's goals to be with their devices... a simple, intuitive, consistent user experience. Having had this damn phone for a month now, they had this outsider fooled. iOS is design by committee at its worst.
Why the hell do I have three ways to access the damn search bar, each one with different information? I only use Touch ID for Apple Pay, not unlocking the device, yet I have to press the home button instead of the swipe to enter my PIN code as on older models. This has brought up Apple Pay and Siri more often than it reasonably should now that I've had this phone for almost a month.
The camera is middling at best, although it's fast. My music over Bluetooth sounds like absolute garbage (very muddy) compared to the exact same source (Groove Music) over my W10M 950XL which had impact and very high quality playback (this might be an Apple proprietary Bluetooth thing, apparently).
Even then, for all its faults (many, many, many faults), I can
rely on it. And that is a HUGE priority for me. And so I still use the iPhone SE.
Plus I got a wicked case for it:
