Apparently I played more than I thought. I scored everything, and I think a bronze trophy.

The door sign and the rug are fun. I put the fishing rod holder by my front door.

I was grinding pretty hard and got a silver trophy. The most points I got with bait was 10 and without I got 8 so I'm not sure it was worth using it.

I got all items and the bronze trophy. What’s the purpose of the fish wand? It shows as a tool.

Wands are used to switch outfits, so you can store a number of preset outfits.

Yeah I was thinking of using bait but grinding bait is such a pain.

I don't know if quality of life improvements are ever a thing in AC games, but if they ever do with this one my two biggest requests would be to link the indoor crafting table to your house inventory so you can just craft without moving stuff around, and allow for crafting of quantity.

I get they want the UI to be as simple as possible, but you could do an "advanced UI" option to turn on that stuff.

I saw one post where they say the money trees follow a patter, and that some are more fertile than others.. some will only go to max 30,000, but others will go to max 299,997. So on certain days you could bury 99,999 instead of 10,000. I'm keeping track of my trees now and putting 11,000 in each to see.

Wait. You can bury more than the 1,000 bells you dig up?

Select your bells in the item window. You can bag 100, 1000, 10,000, and 99,000.
Then bury.

Yup. The fourth option will be the max bells you have on you so to do the 11,000 test I have to go to the ATM and deposit everything and then take out 11,000 to be able to bury 11,000.

Who at Nintendo thought this stupid Easter egg event was a good idea. My wife and I just want to get the museum open and all we can fish or dig up are the stupid eggs. We got the game just a week ago so it's been going on the whole time we've had it. And all you get with those are super ugly outfits and decorations. Can't wait for this to be done.

Wow this game does not favour shift workers.

Nights this weekend, so I time-travel when I get home from work to get Daisy Mae on the island to buy some turnips. (I missed out last Sunday for the same reason).

Turns out, if you time travel backwards, all of your turnips rot.

This was only the second weekend I bought turnips. I like to sleep late on weekends. I didn't know they rot if you don't sell them within a week. At least now I can lure ants.

So I built the basement and the new loan is $2.5M Bells. The only benefit I know of is that you get free custom exterior renovations.. which are worth what 5000 Bells?

Thanks for the $2.5M Bells Mr. Nook!!!

Don't you get a lot of other exterior options with it though?

Hm maybe, I like the options now, but I'll check to see what other options there are, that might motivate me.

Find a switch, so you're well on your way.

I don't know for sure. I have seen screenshots of guys changing to stucco, log, etc.

All I know is for 5000 bells all I can do is basically change colours and doors.

If anyone's looking to sell bells turnips, the prices on my girlfriend's island is 460 and she said she'd open it up to CP'ers. Price will be valid from 12pm-midnight April 14.

I just made a nice tidy $918k profit this week.

This suggests that there isn't additional customization after the 2nd floor is added:

I'll pay the loan off eventually still, but I got a lot of bridges and ramps and moving and stuff I'd rather do first.
