Hey friends!! Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the beautiful weather!! My band BETABOYS just dropped a brand new single, “Newport Beach”, complete with an accompanying animated music video.

It’s been an insanely awesome last year for us- we’ve played Big Winter Classic (x2), Winterruption and JunoFest in Edmonton, Sled Island, and got to open for Dear Rouge at the X92.9 “One Night Only” concert series. This band continues to be my love letter to mid-80’s synth pop and new wave music, and I’m excited to be releasing our first full album on June 2. Here’s a link to the video below. Hope summer is treating everyone well! I’ve actually stayed in Calgary for all of it so far, and it’s been a dream!

Just wanted to very belatedly share that we released the new BETABOYS album, Just Yesterday, on June 2. We went for that big mid-80’s Synth Pop and New Wave sound, the vibe you might hear in a John Hughes movie. Thought I’d share the link below. Hope you enjoy it if you get a chance to listen. We got this nice little review from the Herald, so I thought I’d share that too! This was really neat since I grew up reading the Herald and obsessing over the NHL scores and stats.
