Do you still enjoy draftkings? I enjoyed if for a few weeks but after awhile it really lost it's lustre for me.

So much research and then putting a line-up together for so little pay off. There's just so many people on there, it takes so much to get a line-up into the top portion of any contest. Then I kind of just got tired of always paying $10-$20 per week with a tiny chance of improving on that initial investment, while mostly just losing it each week.

Became a chore and a slow but sure money drainer for no fun. Don't get me wrong I don't mind fun gambling, but the odds are just so bad at getting anything more than a free play on draft kings.

My buddy is a little better with $50-$80 payouts once every couple of months, but even then you're still going to be way down overall.

I guess they released their conclusion on the Tiger crash. Excessive speed. I saw this in the news report:

"James Powers, who oversees the sheriff's station closest to the crash site, said there was no evidence that the golfer braked throughout the wreck and that it's believed Woods inadvertently hit the accelerator instead of the brake pedal."

Really?

I mostly just play the free pools where I've been able to win some money and build up my balance. Outside of that I set up the occasional lineup for major events like the Masters. I've recently started some hockey again as well but I only play the limited setups like early games or late games where you only have to pick players from 4 or 6 teams. I find those are much better than the full line of games.

I am a big Draft Kings guy and play multiple sports each night. However I do pay for a service and to me this one is 100% worth it. But you gotta be able to manage your bankroll. With my job there is no way I would have time to actually do research and big successful. These guys have been a huge help and once I read their articles/rankings I am able to put together a lineup I like and have had good success. For DK I haven't deposited money probably since the start of the NFL Season and have withdrawn a huge chunk as well as I have won a couple GPP's

For NHL I usually play $80 in cash games and $20 in GPP's. I only make 1 cash game line and one GPP line. I used to make multiple lines cuz I would make all these lines that I ended up liking but maybe one would hit but I would be down overall. I also play the same amount each night regardless of how much money I have in my account. I dabble in NBA and MLB as well, NBA I find it a bit more difficult even with rankings cuz I am not as big up on NBA as I am NHL and MLB. Also NBA always has crazy injury news right up until lock so if you aren't paying attention you are screwed.

Also on what calgarygeologist said about playing early only or late games I don't like that at all. It feels like everyone will basically have the same lineup and you gotta get those one or 2 players that will score that go low-owned.

As for Masters I am about to dig in now and see what I come up with. Will do one cash game line and one GPP line

I do the early/late games because I can't invest the time to do lineup research for a full slate of games. I like the smaller pool of players available although the payouts are generally low. I previously tried to do a bunch of research for lineups and in the end it felt like a lot of wasted time. I'm not in it to make money but I like the potential of winning a few bucks while watching a game.

A lot harder to win but can win big. I only play a little bit on those cuz you never know. I don't recommend playing a lot of your bankroll on those. When I first started playing DfS I didn't really know what I was doing and just kept playing big money GPP's thinking I could win cuz I know hockey pretty well. That was a failure and the more I played the more I learned how to play properly

Looks like it's full as I don't see it anymore. I'm not playing FD this time around. My funds are a little lower on there and saving it for NHL and MLB.

Ian Andrew is a golf course architect. Found himself as a big of a Stanley Thompson restoration specialist, but has a lot of cool stuff on Augusta and it's changes over the decades if you're into that kind of thing

Stop me if you've heard this before, but Rory is shooting himself out of the tournament in the first round. It's pretty much all mental at this point.

But watch him get a top 10 finish anyway. So frustrating.

Yeah. If tournaments were scored only on rounds 3 & 4 he'd be right up there.

He even hit his Dad.

That's too bad, I've grown to like Rory and would be good to be able to cheer for him again.
