Mike made an emotional statement on Gary's website too, in which he said: "I know what it is like to train hard, prepare, and fight it out on the ice. And being from Canada, I know what it is like to watch liberty slip away. But all is not lost.
"The world watched as a group of truckers had the courage to fight back. I watched Gary bring that fight to Tennessee over the last two years to stop unconstitutional mandates and medical tyranny."
Good news- Gary, the candidate he was supporting for state senate lost. I just... sigh my head at the overuse of the word "tyranny" with what occurred in Canada. https://www.hellomagazine.com/celebr...age-rare-post/

I would have guessed Mike Fisher believed this stuff if you asked me without presenting this article. He's been in outer space for years, believing all sorts of stupid things.

He feels how he feels what’s the big deal, lots of people feel similar in Canada now over what’s gone on the last few years. It’s a exaggeration on his part in my opinion but I can see where he’s coming from, if you think things were handled/are being handled well in Canada I’d likely call you a wack job if I met you

I wasn’t aware our federal policies were much different then the American ones?
He referred to the truckers. Didn’t the Americans also require truckers to get vaccinated?

Mike has been a constant fighter for freedom, not just white male grievance liberty either. When Kaepernick was fighting injustice and violations of liberty against black males in the USA, Mike Fisher was there for the fight. When indigenous Canadians were fighting for liberty through Idle No More, Mike Fisher fought for their liberty. Freedom and liberty is not just a cause du jour for these people, it crosses all cultural and ethnic lines.

Oh I don’t know I saw nhl player news story and posted it here. However-I, a mere mortal, bow to the mods wishes on where it belongs
This place is amped up enough debating the Bennett trade (which was dumb by the btw). Just take this #### to the other forum. It’s got a political view and it stirs it up. You don’t have to be on one side or another to see that.

I honestly have no idea what the Bennett trade has to do with my post.
As I said - I saw hockey player news posted it to the hockey sub forum. If that’s wrong .. ok? Not arguing over that just saying it’s in the mods hands now.
Oh goodie politics on a hockey forum this beautiful Sunday morning.
I honestly didn’t think people considered the truckers and supporters worthy of the tithe of “Canadian political discussion”- just fringe crazy’s laughed at.
If this impacts your “beautiful Sunday morning” in ANY way . go outside and get offline?
