Happy to get Verhaeghe and Middleton.
I had also bid on Kuhlman, Fehr and Marancin but couldn't compete.

I f'd up the Fehr bid
I didn't mean to offer him 3 years. That's dumb.
I meant to offer him 1.

I've consistently underestimated bids all this time. I thought I'd win all my bids this round. Only got 2/6.

Really glad I snagged Demers, I think that contract could be excellent value this time next year if he bounces back and has a fully healthy season. Also super happy to get Lucic, he's playing with Kane.

Jiri, when you have time, can you give us the traditional breakdown of who earned the most offers and the least offers?

Leafs were happy to add a solid defenceman in Brendan Dillon at a reasonable price, who will likely serve as the #4 or #5 blueliner this season.
Also glad to grab Pat Maroon on an inexpensive deal for some much-needed depth on LW.
Calvin Pickard simply serves as some cheap, emergency insurance if things go haywire for my first-, second- and third-stringers this year.
Only one I missed out on was Marincin, who I also bid league minimum on. Will continue to look for low-end defensive depth elsewhere.

Ah - missed out on Kaapo Kahkonen
Thought 3 years - $1M - 20% would do it but he got me with the AHL%.
