The thing is I don't think Trump is joking. I said it before, if he loses the election he will do everything he can to say it was rigged and try and retain power but if that does not happen and come January he has to turn over the White House he will be in Russia. He knows damn well that he will end up in prison after his reign of terror and idiocy is over if he stays in the US.

If that did happen, I could see Putin taking him in, debriefing him on everything he knows, then turning him in to the U.S. to be prosecuted (or just kill him).

Please don't tell me you're falling for that facade. From the moment he heard about her passing, he obviously only cared about flipping the SC seat. Is there any footage of Trump saying anything nice about RBG while she was alive? I've yet to see it.

Yup, he's just spouting whatever his handlers told him to say, since the subject was obviously going to come up and they knew he'd have to give some kind of official statement. If anyone actually believes he's being sincere in that clip, then you obviously haven't been paying attention over the last 4 years.

Yeah, but even with all the chaos in the White House does it actually make sense that an event that major would not be passed on to Trump, and instead he'd find out from a reporter?
All fair comments and to be clear, I'm not sitting here thinking that Trump is going to be any different because of this video. Only posting it because it really is the only time I can recall he's ever appeared real over a very long time.
At least someone is trying! Maybe put it in a KFC bucket next time and it might work.
