So smooth. His most pressure packed shots he looks like he's just swinging away in warm up.

I remember reading an interview with Steve Williams (Tiger's ex-caddy) a few years ago. One question was to name a golfer to keep an eye on. He said Brooks Koepka - that he was the only person who could hit the ball like Tiger in his prime.

Found the article

Quote:
ONCE IN A GREAT WHILE, a player comes along who hits a golf ball the way it was meant to be hit. Powerful, piercing, the perfect trajectory. Of the young players out there, one I've seen has that special ball flight: Brooks Koepka. Adam and I were paired with him at the Open Championship last year, and from his first tee shot on, I thought, This kid is special. Obviously he's searching to find the other parts of the puzzle, but I haven't seen a ball flight like that since Tiger, and before that, Johnny Miller.

Oh man Woodland is blowing up.

From green side bunker to green side bunker and then back to the first green side bunker again.

Ouch.

Ends up with a triple bogey 7.

Aw Tiger, jesus. Three putts from about 17 feet. Had a realistic shot at eagle and ends up with a par.

No Tiger!!!!! From an eagle try to a par. That eagle would have set the final day ablaze.

He hammered the eagle try which I understand (like the announcer said "When you have an eagle chance you make sure you go all in on draining the eagle").

It's just frustrating because if he treated it like a regular shot then the CBS tracer line showed that it likely would have curved right in.

Anytime Tiger has been in contention this year he has a hiccup that costs him.

This is great to watch. The crowd alone is worth it, did anyone else notice the guy freak out like a schoolgirl when Tiger hi fived him?

If he put his driver away and could find a fairway he would be winning this.

Koepka is an amazing frontrunner. Don’t think he’ll be caught.

This is fantastic TV. Say what you will about the person, but I am digging the Tiger resurgence. And this crowd is out of this world.

As I type this, what a phenomenal shot on the par 3 13th hole to give himself a look at birdie.

As an aside, even if he's not top 8, he has to be a Ryder Cup player at this point.
