Silly question, but why don't you just buy new ones? They're pretty cheap now and can be had for less than $50 each. You can do an entire house for probably $250 or less (4-6 locations indoor and outdoor) and their quality plus ease of use will be better than old baby monitors.

Just mount and then plug into an outdoor outlet. Then access from your phone. It'll be basically in the same ball park quality wise as old baby monitors, but from a distance and accessible on your phone.

For indoor, fixed cameras, they can be had as inexpensive as $30 each.
If you want slightly less obvious, there's these ones you can plug into light sockets as well.

For some of them to record and review at a later date in detail though, you might need microsd cards inside them. But something like this will be more than adequate for your needs and basically like $6 each for a good size.

Good luck. Thieves suck.
