2022 - A New Year & New Hope - Goodbye 2021
The last 2 years have been hard on everyone I think but I'm sure there's also people out there that have had it not bad.
Hopefully we get this covid understood better and we can move forward.
It's still a New Year and people want to do things and improve (resolutions).
Lots of things to look forward to.

2022 will be the Year of the UFO and signs of intelligent life. I think we'll finally get (some) answers and information around this and replace COVID as the hot topic. Personal opinion of course.

After thinking 2020 couldn’t be any worse, 2021 proved me wrong. I’m tired of having plans crushed time after time and seemingly taking one step forward two steps back and am not going to get my hopes up for 2022.

Personally, 2021 was pretty darn good. No one I know became seriously ill, my father had a successful surgery and his quality of life is way better, my partner and I both kept our quality jobs and never missed a day. The lockdown/avoid crowds thing worked out as we were pregnant most of the year so it was actually way easier on everyone.
Culminated in the birth of my daughter. Mom and her recovered nicely, and they’re spending New Year’s Eve asleep against me on the couch. Pretty damn good year.

Overall, 2021 was a fine year. Lots of scheduling difficulties with Covid as I miss seeing some of my friends but very grateful that both my family and I have remained healthy (pandemic-wise).
A really good year at work with tons of success, got engaged, and went on a few trips inside of Canada. Could have maybe got some more exercise though.
It may not have been the best year but it was still one filled with memories. Looking forward to what 2022 brings, happy new year CP!

This seemed entirely more appropriate than the usual, given how things have gone since we so hopefully went into 2020. It is my wish for you all.

This has been the worst year and especially the worst 6 months of my life and that has nothing to do with Covid. I've seen my family disintegrate, my mom hitting the deep end of dementia. My loss of motivation with a lot of things in my life. I've been anxious and depressed and angry for a long time. I'm not coming in with a message of hope for me in 2022, I don't have much.
But I really hope that each and every one of you has a better 2022 then 2021.
Sorry for the downer.

2021 can f off.
Lowlights:
Lost my mom which has been really hard on the family.
Had a horrible boss attempt to ruin my career immediately prior to leaving the company.
Highlights:
New boss believes in me and has given the freedom to make some positive changes to the business.
Broke par for the first time ever for 18 holes.

I'm going to go the opposite direction of everyone in this thread and say 2021 has been the best year of my life. Bought my first house, moved to a new city, started a new job, made new friends, and thankfully wasn't too impacted by COVID. It's been a good year for me and can't wait too see what 2022 brings.

2021 had its challenges but my wife and I were gainfully employed, got married and stayed mostly healthy (damn covid for me last week. But overall 2022 could improve lots on and I think it will.
Happy new year CP!

I work in Int'l travel sales... So yeah 2021 sucked. 2020 too, but I got some bonus payments around Apr that year (2019-20 ended a 'great year'
2022 will suck too for this industry #♂️
Thankfully, I got into Crypto in Nov 2020, and really got into it in 2021. Lots to look forward to in that next year.
Most of all two, my two kids especially my older one kept me happy and stubborn to find success. That won't change this year.
Happy New Year CP!
