Probably a cheap one year, one way. $600-800k or something like that.

If he's smart he's pushing hard for minimum.
If the Flames are going to be tight you don't want a year of AHL hockey based on being paid $175K too much.

One year, one-way for $750,000 is my guess.

Yeah, probably something similar to Bartkowski's $612,500 with a minors salary of $400,000.
Wotherspoon is in much the same boat.

I understand the logic but how as a player would you be pushing hard to be paid as little as possible? If you are good enough to make the team but they won't play you because of other decisions they've made, maybe it's time to seek another employer.
Now he might only be worth the minimum but that is very different than the player pushing hard for it.

I am excited to find out what his contract is...

I might push hard for it if I could get it as a 1 way (but then really I'd be pushing for the 1 way not the low dollar amount). I'll help you out with your cap this year by taking the minimum but you'll help me out by guaranteeing that minimum... I'll scratch your back if you'll scratch mine type of deal.

I would love to see a Nashville type of deal where we get Kulak locked up with some term (3-4years) and a puny AAV.

Agent gives that in exchange for a lofty AHL deal.
So instead of 5 x 900,000 / 82 + 77 x 95,000 / 82 = $144K
He gets 5 x 650,000 / 82 + 77 x 275,000 / 82 = $298K as an almost worst case scenario

Maybe they take the opportunity to give Kulak a bridge deal he can grow out of. 3x1M?

Like 4 years $3.5M total?
Kulak is not good enough to warrant a long term deal. If teams believed he was more he would have been the Flames expansion pick and not a pending UFA that gladly would have signed with Vegas on July 1
