J.D. Burke @JDylanBurke
Spoke with Calgary Flames 109th Overall selection Adam Ruzicka. When asked who he models himself after, he said Evgeni Malkin.

Can a 4th round pick even be high risk?

Good call, if we took him in the 2nd? Maybe.

Low risk, sounds like a really high reward.

Big, skilled, boom or bust center.

I like it.

Seriously though. What was with all the other teams. Could nobody use a 6-4 C with some skill?

Even if he only turns into a 3rd or 4th line C/W at higher levels, that is still useful with a player that big.

Don't know how he was still on the board. Home run pick by Calgary there.

Everybody else seems to love this pick and I agree, the kid looks really solid. Great size and hands, by the looks of it.

Scoped out some vids on YouTube. He likes to go the net. Big centre with decent wheels, good hands. I'm sold for a 4th-rounder.

If this kid can find some consistency he could be a massive steal.

I'm loving that the Flames are grabbing high reward types. In the 4th round you should be grabbing guys that have the chance to "boom" since from here on the chances of making the NHL is small anyway.

Love the potential of this kid. The fourth round is kind to the Flames yet again.
