Preds have the defensive depth to match up to the Blackhawks' forwards I think.
I like Arvidsson's chance to really establish himself league wide as a top line player.

Hawks have taken the last 14 of 20 from the Preds...Rinne has had his struggles, this year. I don't see Nashville has being able to generate enough offense to go far in the playoffs.

Nope, this will only be the 3rd time the teams meet in the playoffs. The 2010 and 2015 series were both won by the Bhawks in 6 games in the 1st round.

Preds score a lot of goals but their goaltending hasn't been as good as past seasons. I think they will put up a good challenge but Hawks should win this in 6 hard fought games.

Man I liked Arvidsson whenever I saw him last year. Thought what a useful depth player, small but tenacious. Very much like Paul Byron.
Never thought for the life of me that the guy would blow up for 31 goals, 60 points and end up leading the Preds in scoring.
What a 4th round steal. 3 years out from his draft and he's the 6th leading scorer in the whole draft, 112th player picked.
Hawks win the series though.

Rinne has been better lately but I'd like Nashville's chances better if they went with Saros.

6 games seems to be a Blackhawk staple. I'll take the Hawks in 6.

Preds are a good team, Hawks are a great team.
But I like the emotional lift that Subban will generate in the Nashville market this postseason.
