Default Photoediting Tablet Recommendations

So, I have been using Photoshop for about five years now in order to create powerful digital environments in which to work with images of ancient manuscript fragments. It has proven extremely useful for detecting patterns of deterioration and for attempting reconstructions. I am now embarking on a new project using multispectral images, and I find myself thinking seriously about picking up an inexpensive USB/Bluetooth editing tablet to plug into my computer for editing photographs.

Does anyone use these things? And if so, can you make any recommendations?

My understanding is that Wacom is the standard for drawing tablets.

But I did learn that Monoprice has some!

I'm a heavy PS user and looked into this extensively last year. Although I never ended up buying one (mostly because I'm so used to using it on a laptop and didn't want to slow down my efficiency during the learning phase) I can +1 for Wacom based on recommendations from other graphic junkies I know.

Another +1 for Wacom. I'm currently using their Intuos Pro for PS & LR. I cannot go back to the mouse.

Reading the comments on Monoprice, it looks like theirs are made by Huion, which is sold on Amazon.

This appears to be the same one photon posted, for $77 Canadian with free shipping: https://www.amazon.ca/Huion-H610-Pro.../dp/B00GWYYXV0

They're well-reviewed and significantly cheaper than comparable Wacoms.
