It's crazy how many BTAS actors and crew are in their 60, 70s, and 80s now. When/how did that happen? Where did all my hair go?!

There is a The Price is Right Bob Barker tribute show on tonight. I grew up watching the show but I honestly forgot how awesome Bob was. I love all the clips of him getting picked up and hugged by contestants. I love the suspension and drama that he would build up when revealing the prices. He was so smooth and quick witted and he just had such an exceptional demeanor with the people on the show. He got so much better with time and age as well. What an incredible man.

Mr Marguaretaville has left us.

https://www.cnn.com/2023/09/02/enter...ath/index.html

Jimmy Buffett, the tropical troubadour whose folksy tunes celebrated his laid-back lifestyle, inspired legions of devoted fans and spawned a lucrative business empire, has died, according to his official website and multiple media outlets.

He was 76.

His worth was estimated at $1 billion, according to Forbes. That’s a quite an empire from one top ten song.

He was always one of my dad’s favorite. We listened to his greatest hits in the car between Calgary and the Shuswap all the time. RIP Jimmy.

Jimmy Buffett died? Oh no. Loved his music. This one is the hardest I can recall in the last few years. I imagine he’s having a Cheeseburger in Paradise.

I got really drunk at the Margaritaville in Glendale after a Flames-Coyotes HNIC game one time. The place was packed with Flames fans... the locals probably knew better places to go.

CNN — Steve Harwell, the 56-year-old former lead singer of the rock group Smash Mouth, is receiving hospice care at his home, the band’s manager said Sunday.
“Although Steve is here with us still, sadly it will only be for a short time,” Smash Mouth manager Robert Hayes said in a statement to CNN, noting Harwell’s fiancée is also by his side.

Yeah....wasnt it one of those things where even Keith Richards would have been saying:

"Dude....slow down..."

Some of those 90's groups/bands/singers really hit lightning in a bottle with their perfect timing. So many of them could make a huge living off one hits, with people continuing to this day paying to see them as a nostalgia act.
