Yesssss
I think we can safely omit Karnaukhov. Idk about Foo either
Also your list is missing Andrew Nielsen, Carl-Johan Lerby, Yelesin, Zagidulin, Philp

1. Valimaki
2. Dube
3. Mangiapane
4. Kylington
5. Pelletier
Then a huge drop off with guys like Ruzicka, Phillips, Pospisil rounding out the top 10 but definitely a big drop

Hm. Whether or not to consider Kylington and Valimaki is a tough one. Valimaki likely stays the Flames all year if he doesn't get hurt. I guess a GP cutoff makes the most sense. What did we go with previous years? 35 games in a single season? I think we count Mangiapane as a graduate as well
Also do the Flames still have Rafikovs rights? Not that it matters he'll go close to the bottom, but I'm curious

Regarding who counts as a graduate, I think a fair cut off is the question - will they ever play regular minutes in the AHL again. By that definition Dube and Valimaki be included. I would argue that Kylington has graduated, after 18 games in the AHL last season he played 38 NHL games, I just don't see him getting sent down again. Same argument could be made about Mangiapane.
That said, it's probably more fun if they are included, so either way its good.

I think Mangiapane would have the most games on the list with 54 plus playoff games. Plus he is off his ELC so if you were to graduate one from the list probably him?

I think the cutoff should be 41 NHL games
Graduated: Andersson, Mangiapane
Prospects: Dube, Kylington, Valimaki, Valiev, etc.

I would go further and say 41 NHL games in a single season.

Rafikov is still technically one, I assume him and Karnaukhov will finish last but it's chill
Agreed on Andersson and Mangiapane, they're not prospects. Valimaki and Kylington and Dube are still prospects

Yup. My rule of thumb is 40 games in a single season and 25/26 years old (may be a bit old but agreed on the games)

Mangiapane feels graduated to me. Valimaki, Kylington and Dube are certainly prospects.

We can't do it by intuition. There needs to be an enforceable cut-off, and I like the 41-games mark.

Yep, agreed, and I have them all based off of that.
Mangiapane: 44 games 18-19, 54 career, so graduated.
Kylington: 38 games 18-19, 39 career, prospect.
Dube: 25 games 18-19/career, prospect.
Valimaki: 24 games 18-19/career, prospect.

I don't know Mitchell Mattson might give the Defector players a run for their money. He certainly is the least talented player on the list.

I believe in the Jays.

I think you can take Spencer Foo off... I mean he signed a contract to play in China. Yes, I know we retain his rights but he's 25 with a two year KHL contract. And I agree with many above... Mangiapane -> Graduated.
