Free Money - Centsports
http://www.centsports.com/
I was recently introduced to a FREE gambling website that involves no credit card info, no money down, in fact no cost at all. The website is funded by advertising dollars from other gambling websites where you would have to pay in to play.
You do have to register to start, that way if you decide to cash out they know where to send the check. To start, the site spots you 10 cents and you are free to bet on almost any sporting event. Hockey is particularly good to bet on since they appear to primarily use the standings to determine the odds.
If you lose all your money the site simply spots you another 10 cents to start betting with.
I combed this website for a catch, but have not been able to find one. I was quite skeptical at first but now even my wife has signed up after looking it over and not finding a catch.
To start simply click on the link below and get started. Good luck.

This doesn't sound like a planted ad. Not at all.

Goon,
It's not a planted ad at all. I checked with the mods before posting to make sure it was acceptable. It's just a really cool find by one of my friends and I wanted to make CP aware of it.
I've only been registered since the beginning of March Madness (lots/easy betting lines) and have had a blast with it. If you have any questions about it, I'll do my best to answer.
Look at my post history. I didn't sign up yesterday to sell CP on this.

Tilley checked with us before posting this so unless he's the one running the site and profiting from it, we thought it was ok to post.
I did remove the affiliate codes in the URL though.

Thanks for the back up. Sorry about the URL, I copied the link it suggested to make others aware of the site.
I'm definitely not running the site. I'm not nearly smart enough to get a website up and running.

In all fairness, the first post did sound like a pitch. But it sounds interesting enough, I'll give it a look. Maybe bet on the Flames game tonight! GFG!

Have to say, just checked out the site, I love their flippant humour. Bet on the Flames to win tonight, first time I've ever made an official sports bet. GFG!

If it is a scam...how?
Right off the bat, they have your name and birthdate. Not enough to really do anything.
They have your ip. Still not enough.
They have a betting pattern over time....still, should anyone care?
The only thing I can think of is if they ask for your banking info. Yet they say they
will mail you a cheque (to US addresses only), so they don't need your banking info.
Where's the scam?

Hah, no. Just curious as to what the info you give them could possibly lead to a
scam? If that basic info can lead them to scam you, I doubt anyone is safe
anymore.

Haven't looked yet but the scam is along the lines of a drug dealer. The first is free then we have you BWWWAAAAAHHHHAHAHAHHAHAHHAH!!!!
Funded by the ads from real sports betting sites. Minimal cost and if anyone starts betting on the real sites because of the banners it is all gold.

about 5 friends and myself have been using this site for a week or so now and everything seems legit. It is pretty funny how I have one buddy though that bets on games to get less money than he is betting...what a dillhole haha

Aww crap... found the catch:
Q: What about if I don't live in the US?
A: At this time we can only support cashouts from people living in the US. Or really, we can only send checks to US addresses.

So an enterprising US based forum member can setup a business relaying the cheques for all of us, taking a bit off the top

Ok, I tried it. Bet my whole ten cents on the Kings/Dallas game and now I have 24.5 cents.
