Community Team of the Year drops tonight I believe. They've tweeted out a picture of the Pacioretti and Pavelski with +5 boost to stats. Comes out at 5 pm local time.

Pacioretty and Backstrom are the only 2 I'm really intrested in.
I wouldn't might any of the top 6 forwards though.
I've got 49 collections packs ready to be ripped open, but I might wait until def.(Giordano) and/or off. (Tavares, Nash) TOTY.

Got a lucky break while completing the Bruins collection... Someone listed a Bergeron for 100/150

I would really like that Helm/Hagelin/Burns line. I use all 3 in my third line right now and a boost would be huge as Hagelin/Helm are both 85 ovr base. I'll wait a week or so till they get cheaper though.

Is there any way to turn off the auto strategy change in GM mode? Auto line changes and asst. coach doesnt do it, and im sick of scoring/being score on and not being able to use buttons because the CPU decides to change my on-ice strategies

It's one of the sliders in the AI tab. Where you can adjust the CPU learning, and other stuff like that. Player strategy adjustment, or something like that.

Got lucky and pulled both the bronze players of the year. Also pulled a POTY Hagelin out of a 8750 pack. The guy is a beast. That 94 skating is pretty deadly.

I'd like to try a few of the TOTY Players, but I'm so comfortable the way my team plays, I'm not sure I want to upgrade (unless it's for a better version).

I have a buddy who's team is unreal, but my team is built like a team, and not just the best superstars in the game. I've won the last 5/6 Div 1 titles, and am off to a 5-0 start this season - I'm not sure I should tinker with what works.

Yeah tough decision. I built my team more like a team than an all-star team too and am having more fun with it. Tried out TOTY Hagelin last night and he scored a beauty to win the game. Right now this is what my team looks like

I think the only change I want to make is to take baertschi out so another silver player and add TOTY Jagr to my top line and go old school penguins.

EDIT: I highly recommend John Scott in your line-up. Toe drags are unstoppable even without boosting him

So I played a bunch of NHL 15 on the xbox one, everyone says the gameplay is better and the features are worse. I thought the gameplay was terrible, worse than it's previous gen counter part. The skating seems just absolutely messed up now as does the stick control. The players seem like they are all 400 pounds trying to maneuver themselves around.

Just picked up Lance for only 20K.

Opened 47 collection packs and the best I got was McDonagh.

NHL16 better be a jump like madden was 2nd year in on next gen.

I finished off the Platinum trophy on the PS4 for this year's game over the weekend.

As a whole, I think the core gameplay is a great place to be iterated on over the next few years - but they absolutely need to get all the modes back in, and continue to build upon them. Specifically the Be a GM mode. That has to be improved upon. The cutback in features is inexcusable, but it did force me to play HUT an awful lot more than previous years and I really got into it.

HUT is fun but needs improvement. There needs to be different leagues/tournaments that make people use cards that are not just the best available. Salary cap leagues would be nice. Have maybe 4-5 different levels of cap. Have some tournaments that make you use only bronze, only silver, or a mix of both players to change it up. Offline tournaments need to be added again too.

Honestly, the gameplay isn't even that much better. The goaltending needs a major overhaul and the AI is still pretty frustrating.
