Ravens just placed six more players on the Reserve/COVID list. By my count thats now 20 on that list. No idea how this game happens Tuesday.

Weird that the Ravens get postponed immediately with only their starter on the list but the broncos have zero QBs available and nary a whisper about postponement.
Edit: also all blame lies with the stupid broncos and their stupid organization. They all knew no one was wearing masks when they should have been, it’s only been 10 months. Jackasses.

Due to COVID restrictions in Santa Clara county, the 49ers cannot practise or play at home for the next three weeks. That will effect two of their upcoming games. Things going not well for the NFL.

Stanford and San Jose State (NCAA) also affected by this. Guess everyone could play on the road, the stadiums would be available and with no fans there would not be a huge disadvantage other than weather (Buffalo in December)

Them having to play and practice at the Oakland Coliseum would be so 2020. Levi’s Stadium is roughly 32 miles from the Coliseum.

And by militant you mean cheating right? There’s only so many players and coaches that go elsewhere, and suck balls, that you start to think that the videogate, communication jamming, and deflated footballs actually had something to do with their success. Or we can pretend they’re that much better than everyone else...

Eagerly awaiting the resident Patriots fans and their "eVerYoNe ChEaTs! You'Re jUsT jeAlOuS!" takes.
Bonus points if they reference Grogan or other obscure 80s Patriots to disguise their bandwagon fandom.

The Denver Broncos are starting undrafted rookie practice squad wide receiver Kendall Hinton at quarterback Sunday against the New Orleans Saints, but the team wanted their starting QB to be Rob Calabrese, their offensive quality control coach for the past two years, sources told ESPN on Sunday.
Denver felt that Calabrese had the strongest command of its offense and he could run the system better than anybody, sources told ESPN. The league denied those requests that were made throughout the day Saturday, saying that the Broncos could not activate a coach to their active roster. The league doesn't want coaching staffs being storage areas for potential players, sources said.

NFL is making a mockery of their product by forcing this game to happen.

Now you could argue the Ravens are getting preferential treatment by rescheduling even though a strength and conditions coach appears to be the source and he broke protocols, but they will be missing their Top QB, 2 RB and TE among others.

Why do I have a feeling that Saints/Broncos game is going to be a lot closer than it seems? Saints love being on the other end of storybook finishes..

Can they prove the Denver QBs not masked are the way they transmitted it to each other and thus are the reason they are all out?
This seems extreme, given some of the teams been given leeway (Ravens, Steelers) having games pushed back with a case or two (including a coach in both cases) shutting it all down. The guys that got it on those teams obviously got it somehow too, possibly not following protocols as well.
If I were the Broncos (and the NFLPA), I’d consider a forfeit and not step on the field, in small part to make a statement, but mainly to maintain the health of your players rather then playing what is a meaningless game. It’s like if the Flames lost all 3 goalies, as well as the designated emergency backups just before ethe game, while playing in a non hockey town like Nashville, and had to use some junior b goalie Flames fan who was on a boys trip, for the entire game.
